Hiii! Raven here! For those of you who don’t me I am, among many other things at MLC, the professional hair and makeup artist that creates the stunning looks you see photographed on our website and social media pages!
Everyone wants to see their best self reflected back at them in their portraits. We know when you look and feel your best, it just shines through on camera! That’s why it just makes sense to have the best of the BEST creating that beautiful look for you 😉 There are probably thousands of reasons why we include Professional Hair and Makeup for your shoot, but here are just a few::

I know which products to use and which styles will look best for you. I will ensure that not only will you look your best, but it photographs best and it will stay put for your session. The last thing you want is makeup that smears and lashes that lift (cringe…) I promise I will make you look amazing for you and for ME – to ensure that you will LOVE your portraits.
2. Less Stress for you.
We begin your professional hair and makeup right at the studio prior to your session! You will receive all of the pampering of two glorious hours in my hair and makeup chair. I will create an amazing full face makeup application with lashes and a beautiful hair style will will last through ALL of the posing. I also take you to any level of glam that YOU desire to ensure you’re feeling amazing for your session! And best of all, you get to just sit there and enjoy the experience. So relaxing. It’s nice to be pampered 🙂
3. Less Edits.
So, you know in the beginning when I said “among many other things”, well I’m also the editor/retoucher here at MLC! What this means is better hair and makeup for you, and less edits for me. The better you look on camera, the more you will love your portraits and feel like yourself when you look at them each and every time. You will also feel more confident sharing and displaying your final images knowing that it looks just like YOU, and not a photoshopped version of yourself. Additionally, I am there for your ENTIRE shoot to ensure you feel amazing and that your makeup is perfect in all of our studio and natural lighting, plus you get unlimited touchups if needed! Not many other photographers can offer that!!

While you are in the hair and makeup chair, not only am I there getting you fixed up, but Melissa is right there with us. For two hours you get pampered while listening to your favorite music, and we’re just all hanging out chit chatting about life.
