About Treehouse Kid & Craft
Treehouse Kid & Craft is a wonderful family-owned local neighborhood toy store that is more than just toys! This inspiring store has two locations, its original being in Athens and its second being around Atlanta (in Decatur). Treehouse Kid was brought to life by an art-loving teacher who became pregnant but had no local options!
With a mission to bring a local store to Athens, Kristen found the perfect location, devised a business plan, and designed her logo before her baby was born in early 2010. Curating the store and organizing product lists, Kristen managed to open the store in September 2010, with her sister joining her to help the dream thrive! Kristen’s sister, Kim, decided to expand and find a location for Treehouse Kid & Craft in Atlanta, which opened in 2015. Since then, Kristen and Kim have provided top-quality art and toy options in their wonderful local shops!
